In this first post, I would like to clarify the tone of this part that I named Smart Fashion.
We (by “we” I mean women) are all crazy about luxury fashion brands such as Chanel, Dior, Vuitton, Saint-Laurent, Gaultier (that is for French brands) Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Cavalli and so many others.
But when it comes to buying these brands, the problem is for a large majority of us… the price. That’s why in this blog I am going to share with you all the goods spots where you can buy luxury fashion brands at 30, 50 and sometimes 75% discount. Some of you might respond to this that there is Ebay. Of course, Ebay is a great way to buy fashion brands at a good price. Nevertheless, you are never sure the product is authentic and sometimes the clothes don’t fit you.
Another aim of this blog is to give some advice so that you can look like you are wearing luxury brands with clothes bought in ready-to-wear stores like Gap, Benetton, Xanaka, Zara, H&M or Mango. Indeed, sometimes the prices of clothes bought in discount stores are still a bit expensive. Besides, most of the ready-to-wear stores are inspired by big brands, so it is easy to find clothes that look like the ones designed by luxury brands. I concede that the quality is not the same but you can still make an impression.
Reciproque, a heaven for fashionable women

Reciproque, a heaven for fashionable women
The first spot I want to talk about is a discount store called Reciproque. Located in the very chic 16th district of Paris at rue de la Pompe, this discount store of 700 m² is dedicated to second hand luxury brand clothes.

Whatever brands, whatever clothes or accessorizes you are looking for, be sure you will find something in Reciproque. Handbags, shoes, belts, sunglasses, dresses, jackets, jeans, shirts, skirts, coats… at a wide range of prices (from 50 to 1000€ and more). The clothes are really well cut and most of them are made of precious material such as silk, cashmere, wool and even leather.
The only negative thing in Reciproque is that it is difficult to find small sizes. If you are a size 2 or 0 it will definitely be a problem to find clothes that fit you. Never mind, you can still go in the store to see the bag and the wonderful collection of shoes and boots.
