This is a movie about drugs with, thrown in as the main character, the famous and super cute Guillaume Canet!!!! Watching Canet was the only thing that motivated me to go and watch this movie because, let me tell you, it was not the best movie I had ever seen.
Eric has never met his father. Then someone calls him to give him the man’s ashes. And from this moment on, everything turns upside down, like any drug related movie would.
Eric is involved in a weird story where he is forced to be a dealer…but in fact he is like you and me…a normal person in a normal world…
He will be plunged in a horrible nightmare: crime and suicide will be his daily news. Everything stops, however, when he discovers the truth about his father and about his secret life.
From my point of view this movie is ordinary and predictable: drug, blood and death being the motto of the movie.
All the bad guys disappear and only the handsome one has a wonderful life ahead…
Regarding the actors, the makeup was awful, Thierry Lhermitte and Josianne Balasco look so so old….reality or myth ?

A very good macabre film!!
I am rather surprised to see that you did not like the film. For me, the film is brilliant, the story is complex, certainly, but understandable and fascinating!!! As you, I particularly liked the interpretation with “a Guillaume Canet” more beautiful than ever! But I especially appreciated the scenario which is a small jewel that combines periods and characters and reveals its mysteries according to the story. All the actors are just and credible, so that it gives a certain truthfulness to the events. Guillaume Nicloux films faces with a precision and a delicacy which sows confusion. We find dark and finely-worked atmospheres, with very beautiful plans and very good secondary characters. Guillaume Nicloux offers a complex and intelligent whodunit, without being complicated. All the same, I have to admit that the outcome is easily foreseeable and expected.
I hated this movie, unfortunately I had not resd your critic before going to watch it ... it's disastrous ! I almost left the theater 'cause I was so damned bored !
I'll rely on your posts for my next choices, 'cause I think we might have the same movie taste so Well done with this one
