Welcome to the temple of vintage

If you are not afraid by overstuffed racks and if you don't mind searching to find the piece of outfit that will satisfy you, I am sure you will appreciate Mamie and Mamie Blue, two second-hand clothing shops located at the 73 and 69 rue de Rochechouard in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.

In these stores, no luxury fashion brands, but great vintage clothes. Mamie is dedicated to clothes from the 30’s and 60’s and offers some accessories from the beginning of the XX° century. Mamie Blue is more a traditional second-hand clothes shop: the clothes are much more recent and there is a great collection for men.

Both these stores offer a wide range of clothes and it is often a bit difficult to sort through them. The prices are reasonable. You can find great dresses around 80€ and jackets around 40-50€. Of course, when you buy an exceptional piece of clothing, the prices are much more expensive.

The owners of these stores, Brigitte and Yannick, often work with costumiers and stylists and they offer services like relooking, costume rental, and tailor-made clothes.

The stores are open everyday except on Sunday. If you want to know more about Mamie and Mamie Blue, go to: http://www.mamie-vintage.com
